A gold prospector in Alaska struggles to survive the elements and win the heart of a dance hall girl. The Gold Rush was critically acclaimed upon its release in 1925, and continues to be one of Chaplin’s most celebrated works 100 years later.

This special virtual presentation will feature music by Gail Gallagher and sound effects by Nicholas White performed live, followed by a Q&A with the artists moderated by Cinema Centennial Program Director Tricia Legat.
