Each year, Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival considers dedicating one evening to honor a particular artist with the Independent Filmmaker Achievement Award. This award is given to a filmmaker who has played a key role on a previously selected film at BWiFF and since gone off to accomplish a truly admirable undertaking in the independent film community.
