Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival has once again received the honor of being named one of the top 100 best reviewed festivals currently open on FilmFreeway, a standing owed to the fest’s incredibly talented and generous alumni filmmakers.
Hundreds of films have been submitted for consideration to play at BWiFF 2018 and now there is only one deadline ahead. Friday, April 27 will be the final (or extended) deadline for Independent filmmakers to enter their films. As the programming committee finishes watching the last of the entries, the “big meeting” draws near. Programmers from around the United States will convene to discuss the pictures they’ve watched and put together a diverse collection of official selections.
Notifications will be sent out no later than Friday, June 22. The ninth annual festival will be held in Chicago from August 3-9.
